Support new use cases with image classification

By popular demand, we’re excited to introduce a new image classification project type. It provides a fuller suite of annotation offerings for your use cases.

What’s the benefit?

Image classification is a task to classify an image by assigning it to a specific label. Its applications are far and wide, — retail, traffic control systems, farm automation, and more — allowing you to expand to new use cases.

What is supported?

Categorical classification: List your designated classes as multiple class choices for our annotators. Other options, such as free text, are currently unavailable.

Standalone projects: Keep your image annotation and image classification projects separate. We currently do not support chaining image classification and annotation workflows in the same project.
